Congratulations to Mahamuda, who successfully defended her M.Sc. thesis on February 29th!

We, the Biomaterials Synthesis and Surface Engineering research group, are thrilled to celebrate Mahamuda’s incredible achievement. Her thesis, titled “Decoration of nano-Spikes on Polymeric Surfaces with Quaternized N-Chloramines for Enhanced Antibacterial Activity,” explored the development of a novel polymeric surface that combines the benefits of both chemical and physical approaches to kill bacteria. Mahamuda’s dedication, perseverance, and insightful research have made a significant contribution to our understanding of designing and engineering more effective antibacterial surfaces.

During her defense, Mahamuda presented her research with clarity, confidence, and a deep understanding of the subject matter. We were all impressed by her ability to answer challenging questions and engage in insightful discussions.

This is a momentous occasion, and we are immensely proud of Mahamuda’s well-deserved success. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors!
